Delete your account

Open Erceipt and go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all its data on our server (receipts, receipt images, extracted data, and the link to any analytics data) and wipes local receipt data from your device. It cannot be undone.

Want to keep the account but remove every receipt? Use Settings → Danger zone → Delete all receipts.

Email support@erceipt.com from the email address of your Erceipt account, with the subject "Delete account". If you used Apple Hide My Email, write from the Apple ID email that forwards to that address.

We delete your account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by email. If we cannot match the request to an account, we will reply and ask you to confirm.

Deleting your account does not cancel an Erceipt Pro subscription. Cancel it in the store where you bought it:

• Google Play: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Erceipt → Cancel.
• App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Erceipt → Cancel Subscription.

Backups are deleted on a rolling basis within 14 days. We may keep a minimal security log of the deletion, and data we must keep by law: subscription records (for the subscription plus 5 years, to defend legal claims) and support emails or complaints (2 years after the matter is closed). Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be kept because it no longer identifies you. Details: Privacy Policy, sections 7 and 9.
